Laila Talo Khuder Alali was 26 when the ISIS arrived at her village, Kocho in Kurdistan, on August 3, 2014, in the midst of a campaign across northern Iraq, killing, displacing and enslaving thousands of Yazidis, whose religion has roots in Sufism and Zoroastrianism.
