India asks China to back UN application on Azhar

India asked China on Monday to support the pending application in the UN to designate Pakistanbased Jaish-e-Mohammed leader Masood Azhar as a global terrorist. It also asked Beijing not to give shelter to hardline Ulfa leader Paresh Baruah on its soil, officials said.
