Action planned against star hotel for cutting trees

The BMC on Wednesday moved to file a police complaint against the upscale Vivanta President hotel at Cuffe Parade after civic officials observed that two gulmohar trees had been cut from the base without the tree authority's permission. BMC officials said they want the police to investigate the matter.
