In a first, new AC local to have solar panels

The much-awaited second AC local train, which was expected to arrive in the first week of January, may be delayed by a week or two as the Integral Coach Factory (ICF), which manufactured the rake in Chennai, took a major decision to introduce solar panels on its rooftop, said sources.
