1993 blasts convict Abdul Gani Ismail Turk dies

1993 Mumbai serial blasts convict Abdul Gani Ismail Turk, 68, was declared dead at Government Medical College and Hospital in Nagpur on Thursday. He was already admitted at prison hospital at Nagpur Central Jail where he was lodged since November 2014 after being shifted here from Yerawada Jail in Pune. Gani was earlier facing death sentence which was reduced to a life term by the Supreme court.
