2 dead in fire in building at Bhendi Bazaar

A fire broke out in a residential building at Bhendi Bazaar around 10.30pm on Thursday. Five residents and three firemen were rushed to JJ Hospital where two were reported dead. The fire started in a house on the third floor of the four-storey Punjab Mahal, Bohri Mohalla. A fire officer said that the 'level 3' fire was confined to electric wiring and installations.
