While PM Modi has retained high-profile BJP leaders from Maharashtra such as Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal and Prakash Jawdekar and RPI-A leader Ramdas Athavale in his council of ministers, two ministers from the 2014 NDA regime-Suresh Prabhu and Subhash Bhamre-did not figure in the first set of cabinet members who took oath on Thursday.
