At 939, Mumbai's sex ratio continues upward march

The city’s sex ratio at birth rose by a point in 2018 to touch 939, keeping with the trend of the last three years. The number of girls born for every 1,000 boys has been rising since 2016 after a dip in 2015, and is up a significant eight points from 931 in 2014, shows BMC data.
