BMC gets 1 bid for waste recycling

The BMC's call for contractors to set up and run material recovery facility (MRF) plants to collect, segregate and process dry waste, including plastic bottles, has bombed. Only one bidder has responded for the island city, while none came forward for the western and eastern suburbs.
