
The father of Moksh Sanjanwala (10), who died due to rabies recently, said a puppy had scratched him on April 25 and that the wound was superficial. The father, Pankaj, said, "We immediately consulted a doctor. The antirabies vaccine (ARV) was not given." The child had no symptoms till July 11 when he developed pain on the right leg and began limping.
