Mumbai: ‘Don’t dance on weak bridges during Ganpati’

Civic authorities have instructed Ganeshotsav mandals in the city to avoid singing and dancing on decrepit bridges while leading immersion processions lest the structures suffer worse damage or collapse entirely. Devotees have been advised to not linger on the bridges and instead cross over silently and swiftly.
