Mumbai: Man uses umbrella to avert rail mishap

A man who grew vegetables beside railway tracks held an umbrella to signal a local train to stop, to avert a derailment on the fast track on Sunday morning. A 1.5ft portion of a track was missing on the Down line between Kanjurmarg and Bhandup stations, which could have been "disastrous" for a Thane-bound train.
