Chor Bazaar's usual cacophony missing

It is sandwiched between two roads, each named after famous freedom fighters-—Sardar Valabhbhai Patel and Maulana Shaukat Ali—near Bhendi Bazaar. Chor Bazaar, the Mecca for antique pieces from bronze Buddhas and brass betel cases (pandaan) to rare handpainted Hindi film posters and a famous segment of the Mumbadevi assembly constituency, is calm on a weekday afternoon.
