Jeweller ex-staffer held for Rs 1.2cr gold theft

A former employee of a jeweller was arrested by the city crime branch on Saturday for stealing 7.2kg gold ornaments worth Rs 1.2 crore and Rs 12 lakh, from the jeweller’s Borivli shop in April 2017. Majish Darji (32) had vanished after committing the theft.
