TV actor held for duping people of Rs 1 crore

A small-time TV actor and three of his aides have been arrested from Thane for allegedly cheating people of at least Rs 1 crore. The accused, Bhimraj Malji (31), who has played the role of a a policeman in a crime serial, was arrested along with Pravin Varma alias Kamal (29), Mallesh Dingi alias Mallu (47) and Chavdappa Kalor (38).
