43% of Maharashtra child rapists were e-friends

In Maharashtra, six minors on an average are raped every day by people closely known to them. The finding owes to a new classification of offenders introduced by the National Crime Record Bureau (NCRB) in tables of cases filed under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act.
