A fast one: Rs 1 lakh tender for Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project

When a businessman from Gujarat was presented with the opportunity of being part of India's first high speed railway line, the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project, he jumped at it. The man who promised to get him a foot in the door claimed to be a government officer associated with the project. But after coming down to Mumbai and losing close to Rs 1 lakh here, it dawned on the businessman that he had been taken for a ride. The Bandra GRP is now looking for the conman.
