Andheri: BEST’s AC fleet goes one better on autos

A fleet of 63 AC minibuses launched in Andheri (West) a month ago has robbed autorickshaws in the area of around 5,300 trips a day, sources in BEST say. This is for the first time that such a large number of AC buses have been deployed in a single suburb. Transport experts say BEST should launch similar point-to-point AC buses in other parts of the city soon.
