Ex-Pak president Musharraf gets death penalty in high treason case

A Pakistan court on Tuesday handed death penalty to former president Pervez Musharraf in a high treason case, Pakistan media reported. A special court had in November concluded the trial proceedings in the case against Musharraf for declaring a state emergency in 2007. The high treason trial of the former leader has been pending since December 2013.
