Panvel boy was strangled by mom’s partner

Panvel city police arrested two men for the murder of Suraj alias Monu Upendra Sahi (7), whose body was found in a plastic bag and dumped on the roadside near Kundewahal village of Panvel taluka on Uran-Palaspe road on Monday morning. Auto driver Rakesh Tambde (32), a resident of Khanda village, allegedly strangled the boy, while his accomplice, Ramesh Pachange (33), is a pavementdweller.
