Society treasurer held for septic tank deaths

Police on Tuesday arrested the treasurer of Morya Housing Society, Govandi, who had engaged three casual labourers who died after entering a septic tank on the society’s premises on Monday. The charge Pawan Palav has been booked under is the Indian Penal Code’s section 304 (causing death by negligence).
