Raigad cops to act against Alibaug horse owners

Raigad district police have started an inquiry into the issue of horses being forced to pull carts deep into the sea at Alibaug beach to ferry passengers to Kolaba Fort. On Friday, TOI had reported on the practice (Alibaug horses driven into the sea for joyride) after animal rights activists wrote to the district authorities urging stringent action. ​
