Mumbai: Veg prices rise as ‘essential supply’ hit

The prices of vegetables and fruits rose on Monday as Vashi’s APMC market closed for business. The politically-affiliated wholesalers shut shop to celebrate an anniversary right after the weekly holiday, Sunday, causing shortages.
