Hoping for best, ready for worst: Rajesh Tope

Health minister Rajesh Tope said on Wednesday, “The doubling rate for cases in Mumbai has increased from 7 days to 10 days now. We are also adding a large number of isolation beds in Mumbai and other parts of the state. We are hoping for the best and being prepared for the worst.” Tope was in Nashik and Malegaon on Wednesday to review the rise of cases there. The case fatality rate of Maharashtra was 4.35%, while it was 4.06% for Mumbai.
