Maharashtra: Over 27k FIRs for violating lockdown

The police filed 27,432 cases under Section 188 of the CrPC till Wednesday for violation of prohibitory orders across the state. They have seized 12,420 vehicles and collected over Rs 95.5 lakh in fines in the two and a half weeks of the lockdown.
