Medical workers in private hospitals grapple with porous protective gowns

great cause of concern amidst the Covid-19 crisis is the lack of personal protective equipment (PPE) for healthcare workers. Adding to that concern now is their quality. While public hospitals get standardized PPEs through the government system, administrators of private hospitals and nursing homes complain of substandard facemasks and overalls. Some overalls are even being manufactured from non-woven fabric used to make shopping bags.
