Mumbai businessman feeds needy patients' kin

Among those hit by the lockdown are hundreds of people whose relatives are ailing or suffering from chronic illnesses. Deprived of basic necessities, facilities and hygienic conditions, these people, most of who hail from marginalised sections of society, are forced to stay on the pavements or under bridges outside hospitals. These helpless people now rely solely on the food that is provided by a few social workers.
