BMC seeks pvt bldg as quarantine hub; case in HC

In a first such challenge to a civic requisition of a private building in south Mumbai for quarantining persons who come into contact with Covid-19 patients, Bombay HC on Monday directed BMC to state what the duration of such requisition would be. It sought an affidavit from BMC special counsel Anil Sakhare and observed that the patients who would be placed in quarantine in it not claim rights to the property.
