Covid-19: BMC assures jobs to kin of deceased staff

To reassure frontline civic employees, the BMC has assured a job to the next of kin of an employee if he/she dies due to Covid-19- related work. This is beside other monetary compensation provided by the BMC. In the past few days, four employees have died after contracting the virus during field work, while around 150 employees have tested positive.
