Live: Toll rises to 1,373; cases climb to 42,533

Total Covid-19 cases in India have crossed the 42,000-mark, as per the latest update by the Union health ministry. Over 1,350 people have died due to the virus across the country while the global toll from Covid-19 has crossed 3,50,000. The lockdown in India has been extended till March 17.
