Mumbai: Painkillers keep dental patients going

A father of two from south UK recently pulled out his own infected tooth with pliers after being refused an emergency dental appointment due to the coronavirus lockdown. While no such extreme has come to light closer home, excruciating dental pain has driven a couple of patients in Mumbai to get hospitalised and go under general anaesthesia for a simple tooth extraction.
