Forfeiture clause most unjust: MahaRera

In a relief for an NRI, the Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRera), Mumbai, struck down a forfeiture clause in the sale agreements of two flats at The Trees, a Godrej Properties’ housing project in Vikhroli. It also observed that the forfeiture clause is “most unjust and exploits flat purchasers”.
