Mumbai docs find stroke link to Covid cases

While novel coronavirus is mainly associated with respiratory illness, city doctors are seeing Covid-19 cases with severe neurological complications, including brain stroke. “At any given time, almost 30-40% patients with stroke admitted to my ICU have Covid,’’ said intensivist Dr Rahul Pandit from Fortis Hospital in Mulund who is also a member of the Maharashtra task-force on Covid.
