17% rise in IPC crimes in Maha in '18: CID report

Crimes registered under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) across Maharashtra rose by almost 17% to more than 3.5 lakh cases in 2018 as compared to nearly 2.9 lakh in 2017, according to the state criminal investigation department report 2018 released on Friday.
