Norms eased, ridership in MSRTC buses up 400%

Latest statistics on Monday showed that ridership in MSRTC buses went up by 400% in the past 18 days, after the state allowed inter-district travel without an e-pass and Covid certificate. Revenue collection from daily ticket sales went up by 200%. The state bus corporation has not paid its employees’ salaries for two months.
