Indian artefacts in NYC Sotheby’s Sassoon auction

An embroidered silk wedding robe and a Jewish marriage contract from 1850s Bombay are among an assortment of 68 antiques belonging to the legendary Sassoon family that will be sold at a Sotheby’s auction in New York on December 17.
