UP police bring in CBI to investigate ‘TRP scam’

Even as Mumbai police on Tuesday arrested two more persons, bringing the total to eight, as part of its investigation into allegations f TRP manipulation against three channels, the CBI took over a case within three days of an FIR being lodged with UP police in Lucknow. Republic TV’s owner and editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami had sought the transfer of the Mumbai police case to CBI.
