Bovine row: Cow-themed weekly editor chewscud

After Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led Madhya Pradesh government established the country’s first ‘cow cabinet’ with half-a-dozen departments under five ministries to work for “conservation and welfare of cows”, Sanjay Amaan was livid in his tiny office in a tower near Ram Mandir station, Goregaon (W). As founder-editor of Gau Bharat Bharati, India’s first weekly dedicated to conservation and protection of cows, Amaan should’vewelcomed the “cow cabinet” but he dismisses it as lip service.
