Naik case: Arguments to focus on ‘closure report’

The arguments before the Bombay HC today are likely to focus on the ‘closure report’ in Anvay Naik’s suicide case. While the prosecutor told the magistrate’s court on Wednesday that the probe was revived on a fresh complaint made by the widow of the deceased, Goswami’s lawyer said, “rightly or wrongly, the case was closed’’ and cannot be reopened without a court “nod”.
