Builder alleges Rs 5cr extortion bid, 3 booked

An FIR was filed on Thursday against Amit Wadhwani of Sai Estate Consultants and Lalit Tekchandani after they allegedly sent a bouncer to a builder’s office to threaten him to pay Wadhwani brokerage. Chunabhatti police registered the FIR against them and a bouncer, Vijay Rajbhar, under IPC sections for issuing threats, extortion and criminal intimidation. Wadhwani said he would challenge the “bogus case”.
