Halves excise licence fee for bars this fiscal

In a major relief for the liquor industry badly hit during the pandemic, the state government has reduced the excise licence charges for permit rooms and bars for this fiscal year by 50%. The proposal for a 15% increase in licence fees from the current fiscal has also been rolled back.
