NGO tells BMC to fast-track open space policy

Almost four years after the city’s draft open spaces policy was scrapped by then chief minister Devendra Fadnavis in 2016, the city remains without a policy to manage its parks and gardens. NGOs and citizen groups have asked the BMC to fast-track the new policy to manage public open spaces.
