37 lakh travel per day on suburban network

MUMBAI: Fifteen days after the suburban services were thrown open for the general public, the average number of passengers traveling per day stood at 37 lakh, including 17 lakh on Western Railway (WR) and 20 lakh on Central Railway (CR).
