HC blasts cop for casualness in Pocso case

In a strongly worded order, reprimanding an investigating officer in a Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act case for “casually” saying she was unaware about the whereabouts of a 14-year-old sexual assault survivor, Bombay high court has said the law prescribes cops take care of the victim and witnesses in a trial.
