Nana Patole is new state Congress chief

Nana Patole was appointed as the new president of the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee on Friday in place of Balasaheb Thorat, who had proposed to step down in keeping with the party’s ‘one man one post’ policy. Patole had quit as Maharashtra assembly speaker on Thursday.
