20 dogs, birds fatally poisoned, FIR lodged

In a shocking case of animal cruelty, over 20 dogs were poisoned to death near the Ganesh Mandir area in Titwala, Thane (rural), on Monday night. Several birds including crows and hens who ate the poisoned laced food have also died on the spot.
