Court orders ATS to handover Hiran probe to NIA

A Thane magistrate on Wednesday directed the state’s anti-terrorism squad (ATS) to not proceed with investigation into the Mansukh Hiran murder case and directed the immediate transfer of the entire case record and proceedings to the special National Investigating Agency (NIA) court in Mumbai on a plea made by the NIA.
