Maha logs 30k daily cases 1st time in 106 days

The state on Sunday recorded over 30,000 Covid-19 cases for the first time. Maharashtra’s 30,535 was the fourth day in a row of over 25,000 cases. Almost mirroring the state’s growth, Mumbai added 3,779 cases, just over 200 short of 4,000 and second in five days when the count was over 3,000. Worryingly, the state’s Covid-19 daily mortality climbed to 99,the highest in 106 days.
