Mumbai at 10th place in ease of living index

Mumbai may be India’s financial powerhouse, but on the 2020 Ease of Living Index, it ranks a lowly 10th among Indian cities with a population of over one million. Greater Mumbai has scored 58.2 compared to Bengaluru (ranked first) with a score of 66.7. The drop is drastic – in the last index in 2018, it was third.
