Over 6k BMC staff hit by Covid, 197 succumbed

A total of 6,099 BMC staff have been affected by Covid-19, off whom 197 died, civic data showed. Around 1.2 lakh frontline workers have been vaccinated, and many have been officials who have been at the forefront in managing the outbreak.
